Nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in the quest for knowledge.
My approach to teaching is to foster critical thinking, questioning and engagement. My goal is to help students develop the confidence to question the status quo, learn how to evaluate a problem, and construct their own solutions. I view myself as a mediator in the teaching-learning process. I want to encourage students to make analytical and qualitative assessments rather than just memorize facts. I also like to stimulate students to reflect and evaluate upon scientific data and to develop the ability to think about principles and methods that led to those results.
